Before you leave...
If you are interested in hunting with Whiteswan Lake Outfitters, here are a few things you should know.
Our guides are highly experienced, and will meet your needs as a hunter. Whether you wish to hunt in remote areas using spike camps, or make use of the convenience of the main lodge.
Some hunting requires the use of horses and backpacking for any game hunted at higher elevations. Try to be at your best physical shape to be able to enjoy all that Whiteswan Lake Outfitters has to offer.
You will receive a hunter package after you have secured your hunt with a deposit, which will include information on importing firearms into Canada.
Make sure you have a valid and current passport if you are entering Canada.
If you are flying check with your airline for details on transporting your firearm and ammunition.
What to Bring
Keep in mind that outer layers, jackets and pants should make minimal noise. Mountain weather can be unpredictable, so be prepared. Make sure that your boots have been well broken in. We can suggest an appropriate firearm and ammunition for your hunt.
